Vittoria Launches New Terreno Range, Gravel Terrain Score, & Gravel Air-Liner
Vittoria is coming in hot to the 2025 Sea Otter Classic. Starting from the ground up, adding a clear focus on helping riders make smarter tire choices for a better gravel experience. The Italian Tire Titan released a trio of updates that signal a more refined, rider-first approach to gravel tech.

The first update is the all-new Gravel Terrain Score, a scale designed to demystify tire selection. Riders tackling everything from buttery hardpack to sloppy post-thunderstorm singletrack can find clear tire tread guidance. Born from the data-heavy Vittoria White Paper #4 and refined with input from pro athletes. The Terrain Score system breaks riding surfaces into five super-categories: Hardpack, Fine Loose, Mixed, Coarse Loose, and Mud.

Think of it as a matchmaking tool for you and your tires. Each category is scored from 0 (pavement territory) to 100 (cue the MTB playlist), giving riders an intuitive roadmap to the best tire for the job.
“Riders can now simply look at the terrain they’ll face and trace down to the tire that fits,” says Stijn Vriends, Vittoria’s Chairman & CEO. “It’s about simplifying choices so gravel cyclists spend less time guessing and more time riding.”

Vittoria is also renaming and updating its Endurance Gravel tire lineup to match the Terrain Score. Out with the Terreno naming convention, in with the new Terrain Score-based labels:
- Terreno Zero becomes T10
- Terreno Dry becomes T30
- Terreno Mix becomes T50
- Mezcal-style knobs come in as the T70

The T50 Mixed Gravel Endurance tire leads the charge. Slotted perfectly between the T30 and the more aggressive T70, this tire aims to be the go-to for riders who are dabbling in chunky, loose-over-hard terrain but still want a fast-rolling, all-day setup.

The T50 isn’t just a rebrand. It sports a directional siping texture for more grip in loose corners, plus Vittoria’s reinforced nylon sidewall protection and endurance-focused construction.

Powered by a graphene-based compound, it’s built for the long haul and changing conditions — bike-packing epics, gravel grinders, or whatever your “unmaintained road” route throws at you.

Last but not least is the updated Air-Liner. For riders pushing their tires to the edge (literally), Vittoria’s Air-Liner Light Gravel insert now comes in a new 37–40mm. The size complements the existing 42–50mm tire options.

Born from the DNA of the Air-Liner Light XC and the original Gravel version. The updated insert is designed for more than just flat protection:
- Ride Feel: The insert compresses progressively, smoothing out chatter and reducing fatigue on longer rides.
- Burp and Impact Protection: That same progressive feel helps eliminate burps and protects rims from snake bites.
- Run-Flat Capable: The semi-permeable foam can slowly retain and release air in case of a total flat—and yes, it plays nice with sealant.
For racers, adventurers, and anyone flatted five miles from camp. This might be the quiet upgrade that saves your ride (and your sidewalls).
