To commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's coronation in 1953, the Dorchester Hotel - an iconic venue known for welcoming royalty and celebrities - prepared a delectable five-tier cake and hung theatrical drapes on their facade, reminiscent of the decorations used back then.

Luca Virgilio, general manager of a popular destination, said people from different cultures are drawn by the idea of something historic and fairytale-like - referring to the royals and their surrounding areas. This has led to a surge in visitors, and all spots being filled up already - which is a great sign for the destination's success.
