Trickstuff’s popular Piccola HD brakes are back, and now come with some eye-catching 3D-printed titanium brake levers. We got a glimpse of the collaboration with 3D-printer Trumpf back at Eurobike two summers ago – where they won our Manufacturing Best of Show award. But now, after two years of development, you can get your hands on a set of these tricked-out stoppers, too!

Trickstuff describes their Piccola HD brakes with C42 calipers as the ideal blend of light weight and killer stopping power, perfect for big days of trail bike and all-mountain riding.

And now, thanks to 3D-printing titanium, the brakes get lighter levers that are stronger than the old machined-aluminum, while adding better grip thanks to the unique structure of the ti additive manufacturing.

“The Piccola HD Titanium shines with its combination of the graceful Piccola pump and the powerful C42 four-piston caliper. 3D-printed titanium brake levers and radially arranged brake pumps lighten the ascent to trails without lift access. With its strong hydraulic ratio of 9mm at the pump piston to 14/17mm in the caliper, it bulldozes the brake oil into the four pistons with serious oomph – and brings you safely to a standstill when those unexpected obstacles jump out of nowhere. Heat-resistant hollow stainless steel pistons and Bionol brake oil prevent interrupting the flow during top-to-bottom runs with unnecessary cool-down breaks, unless you need one yourself.”

The new Trickstuff Piccola HD Titanium are available now for 1100€ for the pair. They come in 4 color combinations – pick either black or silver anodized bodies, then black or silver lever & banjo hardware. And then you can pick rear brake left or right.

The new 3D-printed titanium levers are also available separately as an upgrade kit to existing Picola owners, for 130€ per lever.
