
Orbea Orca Gets Leaner with New Wheels and New Cockpit Options
Orbea’s climber’s favorite just got a serious performance facelift, just in time for the tour. The latest Orca comes stacked with a sleek new cockpit, a set of high-tech OQUO hoops, and paint that hits harder than a peak-season ramp test. While it remains laser-focused on low weight and efficiency, these updates refine the formula. Transforming the already-sharp Orca into an even sharper (looking) tool for the mountains.

At the front end is the new OC SH RA10 integrated cockpit, available in a whopping 11 sizes for a tailored fit. It’s clean, entirely internal, UCI legal, and GPS-ready for riders who like their data as dialed as their bike fit.




At 313g for the 100/380mm size, it’s light enough for the weight weenies and aero enough to please the watt watchers. This cockpit looks clean and dare I say “normal” like the siloutte of the Orca. Its compact, and doesn’t look propirierty. Plus it accents and puts a fine point on the classic look of this climbing machine.


Wheel upgrades come courtesy of Orbeas’ in-house OQUO brand. This iteration features the newest RP35 LTD, RP50 LTD, and RA57 LTD, all spinning around the freshly minted Q10 hub.


The RP50 strikes the sweet spot for all-around race duty, offering a balance of lightweight design, aerodynamic shaping, and compliance. The deeper RA57 LTD goes, the more it unleashes aero gains and power transfer.
What’s up with the OQUO Q10 hub? With a claimed weight of just 104g front and 175g rear, it’s not only one of the lightest in class but it’s also built with precision-machined internals and top-shelf materials for day-in, day-out durability.

For riders who want their bikes to look as fast as they feel, Orbea didn’t skimp on the finishes either. The top-tier OMX frame (745g) comes in three all-new colorways; including a slick Spark Silver–Titan Grey Fade and a shimmering Holographic Dynalines option.


The OMR frame (1030g) sees four fresh looks, with standouts like Escape Green Carbon View Matte and Cobalt Blue–Carbon Raw.
At just 6.7kg complete (depending on build), the new Orca remains a purpose-built climber—ultra-light, ultra-reactive, and unapologetically racy. It’s not a do-it-all machine. It’s a do-one-thing-really-well machine—and that thing is going uphill fast.


There are various builds and combinations of components for the new Orbea Orca. All arrive with OQUO wheels and hubs. If you’re a Shimano fan, you’re in luck, as there are three different offerings, ranging from 105 Di2 to Dura Ace Di2, with a full race build. SRAM fans have one offering (right now) with a full SRAM RED AXS build mimicking the Shimano Dura Ace component offerings for wheels and auxiliary bits. The top offering builds on the Orbea OMX frame as a canvas, and the mid-tier employs the OMR.
