Take all of the great things about the Old Man Mountain Divide rack, like its ability to mount to virtually any frame, from road bike to full-suspension mountain bike, and its rock solid cargo carrying capacity.

Now, apply that to a larger version with a longer platform for better supporting bigger bags and packs, and you get the new Divide XL rack.

Oh, and it’s made in America by Stinner Manufacturing, using 6061 aluminum so it won’t rust.

The new Divide XL has a 2.5″ longer deck, measuring 12.9″ x 3.8″ on the top. Side rails stick out further, giving you plenty of room for both pannier bags on the side and a trunk bag on the top.

Mount it to standard frame or fork eyelets and it’ll carry up to 55lbs (25kg). Use their Fit Kits with sister brand Robert Axle Project’s custom thru axles, which have options for any frame, fork, and axle standard out there, and that capacity increases to 70lbs (33kg) by putting the bulk of the load directly on the much larger axle. It’s a solid system we’ve used for loaded touring and bikepacking, and we highly recommend using this system if you’re bringing all the things.

The rack and its mounting arms clear 3″ tires with room to spare, letting you run fenders, too.
