All-New Shape

At the heart of the Vega Carbon is a brand-new anatomical silhouette. Fizik reshaped the entire last, straightening the shoe’s axis, reducing the heel-to-toe drop, and expanding the toe box. There is more room to splay the foot, less fatigue on long efforts, and a locked-in feel that doesn’t punish your pinky toe.

This new geometry aligns with how modern riders pedal, especially as cleat positions move rearward and bike fits get more aggressive. Fizik calls it “natural,” but it’s more like ‘purposeful evolution‘.

Carbon Sole, Hidden Power

The full-carbon outsole is now integrated directly into the shoe’s upper, not just glued on underneath. This reduces the cleat stack height. And it moves your foot closer to the spindle for better power transfer and a more planted pedaling feel.

Fizik describes the shoe as its stiffest (10/10) construction. Since the carbon plate is embedded beneath the upper, it cuts weight and stack height, while keeping the whole platform responsive and race-ready.

Materials That Breathe and Grip

Fizik brings their woven Aeroweave PRO fabric to the table here—an airy, high-tenacity weave combined with a thin translucent mesh for maximum air flow and minimal weight. It’s breezy where it counts and structured where it needs to hold shape. There are no soggy uppers or sloppy hotspots.

Inside, beneath the weave, a perforated Airprene bootie hugs your foot with a sock-like feel. It wraps without pinching, giving you snug security without creating pressure points when the watts go up.

Dialing in the fit is as easy as turning those two BOA Li2 dials. Independent zones let you fine-tune instep and midfoot tension separately because your arch and forefoot don’t always want the same hug.
